DC METRO TOURNAMENT DAY QUICK NOTES
ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR TEE-TIME
Every player should read and understand the information below. It is vital to our ability to run successful tournaments and maintain good relations with the courses.
TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
- Tournaments are 18-hole stroke play events. Using only gross score. Conforming to USGA rules.
- Ball will be played down. However, the Director will make decisions based on weather and course conditions on the day of play.
- Golf course and tees will be set up to meet Tour Guidelines. Take time and Read the Tour Guidelines and Tournament Player Worksheet.
Check-In & Tee Box Arriva
All players must check in 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time and must be at the 1st tee box 15 minutes prior to tee off.
Pace of Play
All groups should complete their round within 4 hours and 30 minutes. Players are expected to play Ready Golf through the green.
Pace Enforcement
Pace of Play will be strictly enforced. Groups falling behind will be penalized. All groups must stay within 15 minutes of the group in front.
Player Notice
Review the online player notice and the printed copy available at check-in. It contains valuable course rules and tournament information.
Cart Policy
All players are required to ride in carts. No walking carts are permitted.
Tournament Morning Checklist
- Arrive at the course at least 45 minutes early
- Check-in with the Tour Director
- Review player notice and scorecard
- Warm up on the range / putting green
- Be at the tee box 15 minutes before tee time
