	Champ Flight: Cobb’s Opening 71 Proves Decisive   Mike Cobb established himself as the player to beat with a one-under-par 71 on Day 1—the only score below par during the tournament. That opening round gave him a five-stroke advantage over Michael Huh and an eight-stroke cushion over Marty Bunch and Bill Jenner.   Cobb closed with a 77 for a two-day total of 148. Although he did not repeat his opening-round performance, the advantage he created on Day 1 gave him enough room to withstand a strong charge from Bunch.   Bunch delivered the best final round in Champ Flight, shooting 73 and gaining four strokes on Cobb. He climbed into second place at 152 but could not completely erase the eight-shot deficit he faced at the start of the day.   Jenner followed rounds of 79 and 75 to finish third at 154. Huh placed fourth at 156, while Chris White made one of the tournament’s biggest improvements by following an opening 84 with a 74—10 strokes better on Day 2.   Cobb’s victory was built on one exceptional round followed by a composed closing performance. His 148 was also the lowest two-day total in the entire field.
A Flight: Spinks Holds Off Brown by One   A Flight produced one of the tournament’s most compelling finishes.   William Spinks opened with a 75 and carried a three-stroke advantage over Terry Brown into Day 2. Brown immediately applied pressure, posting an even-par 72—the lowest score recorded by any player in the final round.   Spinks responded with a steady 74. Brown gained two strokes, but Spinks preserved one stroke of his overnight advantage to win 149 to 150.   The final numbers highlight how little separated the two players. Spinks recorded the better score on Day 1; Brown recorded the better score on Day 2. Over 36 holes, the championship came down to a single swing.   Jody Clary made a strong final-round move of his own. After opening with an 82, Clary improved by seven strokes with a 75 and climbed into third place at 157.
	B Flight: Barrett Wins with Consistency   Daniel Barrett delivered the most consistent winning performance of the tournament.   Barrett opened with a 77 and followed it with a 78. His rounds were separated by only one stroke, and his two-day total of 155 produced a commanding nine-stroke victory.   The competition behind him changed considerably during the final round. Johnnie Cooper added an 83 to his opening 81, while Sean Mitchell closed with an 81 after starting with an 83. They finished tied for second at 164.   Brandon Wynn began Day 2 in second place after an opening 80, but an 86 dropped him to fourth at 166.   Barrett did not need a dramatic final-round charge. He took control with the best opening score in the flight and then eliminated opportunities for the field to catch him. His nine-stroke margin was the largest among the five flight champions.
C Flight: James Survives Corso’s Charge   Tony James entered the final round with a three-stroke lead after opening with an 86. Anthony Corso, meanwhile, began Day 2 seven strokes behind James after shooting 93.   Corso then produced the lowest final round in C Flight, improving by eight strokes with an 85. His charge placed significant pressure on the leader.   James closed with a 91, which allowed Corso to gain six strokes. However, James retained one stroke of his original advantage and claimed the title, 177 to 178.   Joseph Deese, who started the day in second place, finished third at 182 after rounds of 89 and 93.   Like A Flight, the C Flight championship demonstrated the importance of every shot. Corso nearly overcame a seven-stroke deficit in one round, but James’ opening performance gave him just enough protection to survive.
	D Flight: Farley Goes Wire to Wire   Andrew Farley began the tournament with an 86 and took a three-stroke lead over Kent Barker into the final round.   Farley followed with an 88 to finish at 174 and complete a wire-to-wire victory. His two rounds were separated by only two strokes, making his performance one of the steadiest in the flight.   The biggest final-round move came from Jay Johnston. After opening with a 91, Johnston posted an 86—the lowest Day 2 score in D Flight—and climbed into second place at 177.   Larry Dukes and Bill McDonald tied for third at 181. Barker and Brad Young finished one stroke behind them at 182.   Farley’s victory combined an early lead with consistent play. Johnston made the strongest challenge on Day 2, but Farley never surrendered control of the flight.

2025 SEASON CHAMPIONS

Tour Rookie, Preston Andrews took on the stable of Champ Flight competitors and collect 4 trophies including the Season Finale at Monroe Country Club. Preston's tour index is an impressive -1.3 and a total birdie count of 56 in just 18 starts (3.1 birdie AVG per round)!! Preston broke par 5 times including a 68 at The Cleghorn Golf & Sports Club at Tryon Resort. He pocketed $1655 in prize money and totaled 4705 in points for the season.

David Stringer broke through at the end of the season after several close calls including carding a 73 (+1) Third Place at Red Bridge Golf Club! David traveled to the The Columbia Golfweek Amateur Tour and won the season finale to leap frog the field. He held the points lead with a second place finish at the Monroe Country Club Finale for CLT. David led the A Flight with 27 birdies in 20 starts.

For Steve Zannos, the road to the Championship started with his win early in the season at the St. Patrick's Day Regional in Myrtle Beach. He capped off a solid season winning the Monroe Country Club Finale and amassed 3896 points to leap frog a competitive field. Steve's average score was 85.4 and he lead the B Flight with 22 birdies over 22 events.

Frank Brammer rode an early season win at the St. Patrick's Day Regional at True Blue Golf Club all the way to the C FLIGHT Championship. Frank maintained a solid 93 scoring average to collect 3521 points over 20 starts.

Rookie @Brandon Wynn racked up 4185 points over 16 rounds and took the D Flight Season Championship. He won 4 times with an average score of 89.1 and collected $1875 in prize money. With a great result at the season finale at Monroe Country Club, Brandon punched his ticket to the C Flight for 2026 - much to the delight of the rest of the D Flight field!
