ISLE OF CAPRI REGIONAL MAJOR

Tunica Resorts, MS - Great weather, great courses, and lots of players made the Isle of Capri Regional a big success!! Links @ Cottonwoods and Tunica National were both in wonderful shape and had some bite as well. Thanks to all the players for coming out for the tourney, we know alot of you had a long trip, and you are the reason the tournament was a success. Big thanks go out to Chris Culver, Shaun Pruett, & their staff at Cottonwoods, as well as Matt Cooper, Bob Wolcott, Matt Brunetz, and their staff at Tunica National for a job well done!

Champ Flight - New member Chad Cupples knocked off the Memphis tour points leader Ed McDugle by 1 stroke. Ed, better hit the range, looks like he is coming for you! lol. Our friend from Arkansas tour, Mr. Carson Fields Jr. finished in third.

A' Flight - In an exciting 4 hole playoff, Jason Lyons from the Arkansas tour beat out Memphis's Todd Bradford on a 25 foot birdie putt on #18 green! Thanks for a great battle guys! Keith Nuckolls (Mem) finished in 3rd.

B' Flight - Mike Fowler (Mem) turned in an impressive 76 to claim the honors for B' Flight. Might be bump time for Mr. Fowler! Great score Mike. Jonathan Kelly (MS) beat Shane Hodge (AR) on scorecard playoff for 2nd.

C Flight - The Memphis tours Shane Springer took the trophy with a very "B' flight" like score of 80.......hmmmm. Kelvin Hall from the Mississippi tour grabbed 2nd place with Josh Summerhill (MS) taking 3rd.

D' Flight - Day two saw Brian Livingston (MS) shoot a nice 85 to win by 4 strokes over Lee Harris (Mem). Looks like Steve might need to promote Brian to the C' Flight......?? Just picking at you Brian. lol. John Conlee carded a very nice 88 to grab third. Way to go John!

Sr. A' Flight - Mr. Jimmy Williams won first place over Jim Webb and Sonny Branning.

Sr. B' Flight - Mr. David Russell took home first place honors.

Sr. C' Flight - Mr. Jerome Wicker grabbed the first place hardware. For more detailed info on the Senior Division, Click here.

Memphis Golfweek Amateur Tours next tournament is at the Mallard Pointe Golf Course in Sardis, MS on June 16th. Practice rounds are $25.  Come on out an enjoy some friendly competition with us on tour.
