Millington,
TN - After raining for three days, the sun came out just
in time for our tournament, and the next wave of rain held off until immediately
after our tournament conclusion! What luck!
But, wet fairways, cart path only, cooler temps, and a 15 to 20 mph north
wind made scoring tough! We had 50
players out for the tournament at Mirimichi Golf Course, and we really do
appreciate all you coming out to play on a Sunday. We would also like to say
thanks to all our guests from the Nashville and MS tours for making the trip. Finally,
thanks to Mirimichi and the entire staff for a fine job under the conditions.
Champ
Flight – Rookie Hunter Sharpe cards a 75 for his second win
in a row. Hunters 75 edged out Ed McDugles 77 and Phillip Roberts 78. After
this butt whipping, I don’t think tour vets Ed or Phillip will take it
lightly! Hmmm, competition, nice!
A’
Flight – After both players scored 77 in regulation, Todd
Bradford and Mark Heath went to an on course playoff to determine a winner. Both players made par on the first 3 playoff
holes, and on the 4th playoff hole, Todd makes par with Mark making
bogey. New member Peyton Weddle shoots
78 to take third place.
B’
Flight – Rookie Mike Bertoldo shoots 85 to win his first
tournament on tour. Congrats Mike! Chris
Prince’s 87 just edges out tour vet Shane Springer’s 88 for second place.
C’
Flight – Tour Director Greg Cryder takes he win with an
85. John Mazzola cards an 87 for second
place, and Dennis Sensing takes 3rd with a 90.

shoots 91 to take the win over Lee Harris’s 93.

Our next tournament is at

rest of the season, and we have a referral program. It’s never to late to join, and anyone can
still win the flight championships this season, but don’t wait too long!
