Oakland, TN – The Fair Oaks golf course was very windy and very wet for the Memphis Golfweek Tour stop this past Saturday. After 1 inch or more of rain on Friday night, it was cart path only and lift, clean, and cheat (place). Thanks to all the guys that came out to play Fair Oaks. Thank you Bruno and staff for a very fine job, it was a pleasure having our tournament there!
Champ Flight- Ed McDugle recovers from injury to shoot 71 and win! Cristian Serrano places 2nd with 76.
A' Flight- New member Tim Ferrell takes the trophy in his first tournament with a very nice 75! Keith Nuckolls continues to play well with a 76 for second. Tommy Warren takes third with 81.
B' Flight- Gary Wright, another new member, wins in his first tournament with a 79! Second place went to Tim Western with 83, and Larry Denbrock shoots 84 to take 3rd in his first tournament of the season.
C' Flight- In the ultra-competitive C’ Flight where 6 strokes separated 6 players, Andy Gregory gets his first win on tour with a 90. Congrats Andy, and check that card! Lol. George Powell and Bart Watkins both card 91 with George taking 2nd on scorecard playoff.
D' Flight- After 18 holes, Scott Sagarra and Trey Horrell were tied at 93. Scott wins first place after on course playoff. Congrats Scott! Trey gets 2nd place and Vince Vaghela takes 3rd.
