STONEBRIDGE GOLF COURSE
Cordova, TN – Hot! Hot! & HOT! That’s the theme for the Memphis Golfweek Tours tournament at Stonebridge golf course this past Saturday. Combined with thin fairways and fast greens, overall scoring went up, up, & UP! Thanks to all the players for coming out in 103 degree heat to play golf, and everyone have a great July 4th holiday!
Champ Flight – Ed McDugle avenged an earlier loss this season at the Isle of Capri tourney by edging out Chad Cupples by one stroke. Ed scored 75 and Chad a 76, with Chad winning 2nd on scorecard playoff over Jesse Klenks 76.
A’ Flight – Todd Bradford continued his winning ways, but it took a 1 hole playoff with his buddy Jim Cande to get it done this time. Both players shot 82 to reach the playoff, where Todd had a par on the first hole, and Jim couldn’t get up and down for his par. Keith Nuckolls took home 3rd place.
B’ Flight – Ken Bittles shoots a Champ flight 76 to blow away the field for the trophy! "Moving on Up" may soon be Kens theme song! Great score Ken! Derrick Simpson took home 2nd with an 82 and Juan Castillo grabbed third with an 86.
C’ Flight – Maurice Coleman shot a very impressive 84 to claim top honors in the C’ flight again this week. Shawn Yosten shoots 89 for 2nd place, and Dennis Sensing scores a 90 for 3rd place respectively.
D’ Flight – Ellis Houser wins his first tournament with a fine 95! Congrats to you Ellis! Kevin Simpson takes 2nd with a 98, and points leader Trey Lindsey gets 3rd with 100.
