What Are Players Saying About

The Columbus Golfweek Tour

Last season was my first on this tour. I was on another tour previous years and this tour is better managed, organized andthe courses get better every year. Meeting new players washigh on my list and the players on this tour in all flights aregood guys. Some of us even help each other on the range. You learn about tournament golf and rules of the game. With payout to top players and skins and closet to the pin,you have plenty of chances to win money. And the finals inHilton Head? Well my first round foursome had a gentlemanwho played in the U.S. Senior Open. I had a great time allweekend and look forward to the coming season here in Columbus.

I was fairly new to Columbus and was looking to find a golf association. A friend of mine mentioned the Golfweek Amateur Tour to me and so I joined in 2011. The tour offered me the opportunity to play courses that I would not normally play. I enjoy competitive golf and this gave me the chance to do just that here in OH. The members are also great to golf with. And that to me is what I was ultimately looking for. A great group of folks to enjoy playing golf with. The tournaments on The Tour are also well managed. I have been a member of some large golf associations in the past and I know how much time and effort is required for these events. I cannot express how much I appreciate the work these folks put in. Thanks..........

2011 was my first year on the Golfweek Amatuer tour. Im really glad I joined, I was able to taste victory and defeat. I've met some good people while playing on the tour and I cant wait for 2012 to start back up! If you are a golfer who loves to play beautiful "new to you" courses then this am tour is for you. Affordable and TONS of fun!

A couple of years ago I was looking for competition golf and I found it inThe Golfweek Amateur Tour. The membership fee is very reasonable and The events are played at a great mix of public and private courses. You play in a flight with other golfers that are in the same handicap bracket,so it's very competitive golf. At each event you have a chance to win prizegift cards, skin money and with a great shot, closest to the pin money. Thenthe end of the season National Championship in Hilton Head is a blast. Thistour is a great way to meet new golfing friends and play competitive golf.

The Golfweek Amateur Tour is a highly organized and competitive golf experience. Being a new player last year, I felt welcomed and part of a fraternity of people who love the sport of golf. I cannot thank the staff and fellow competitors enough for making this tour happen and I look forward to a great 2012!
