Pre-Season Scramble Players
Eleven golfers showed up for the pre-season scramble held at Cumberland Trail. Three teams were put together to attack the windy conditions that the course would throw at them.
When it was all said and done the teams finish at -10, -10 and -7 for the day. The three-man team of Justin Wang, Howard Pavlofsky and Eric Crocker were declared the winners based on the scorecard (the team birdied the #1 handicap hole). Congratulations to that team. Coming in second was the team of Keith Weaver, Jared Minor, Dennis Henderson and new comer Josh Stevens. Finishing at -7 was the team of Zavier Neeley, Gary Andrews, Angel Padilla and James Dunn.
The great thing about the day was getting back on the course, doing a little talking, getting to see some new faces and everyone walked away with a little bit of skin money.
The main comment heard today was “Glad we are playing. I need to shake off some of the rust.†With Saturday being the first official tournament of the 2009 season, this scramble was a great way to get back in the swing of things.
If anyone is interested in playing on Saturday, please sign up. We have plenty of openings ïŠ
